run flats vs non-run flats?

how does one distinguish run flat tires from non-run flat tires? is there any writing on the side wall to distinguish this? I have michelin pilot sport as.

Michelin designates there tires with ZP if they are a run flat. If you have Michelin Pilot Super Sports and they don't say ZP they are not run flats.
