Default To FAST or not to FAST

Need some help here...LS3 C6

Current Mods:

Intake/Exhaust/Headers (1 7/8)
Cam (230s/240s / 620's)

Makes 500whp currently..

I want to squeeze a bit more out of it so I was thinking of adding the Fast 102 and NW TB....I am getting conflicting information from various shops/tuners on if it will be worth it or not

Opinions are welcomed based on my modificaitons. I dont expect 50whp from it but I do expect 15-20whp...I will have it re-tuned if I do it.

Will I get that hp out of it or is it all a HOAX on my LS3....Thanks for all opinions/comments

IMHO, with the mods you have 15-20 hp is realistic with a ported Fast over a stock intake manifold [with a new tune].

I don't think a different TB will make much of a difference. [just my .02]

From where you are 15-20 you will hardly notice, get some juice and you will notice

It's not worth it. $1,000 for just the manifold, plus the money for a TB that may negatively affect your driveability. All that for 15-20whp?

That money is better spent on something else. Nitrous if you're keeping your N/A cam.

You may not see 15-20 on the top end, but the power under the curve will show the most improvements. It is a good mod and I would do it, if your intake manifold is stock. If you have already ported it, the gain/money would not be worth it.

The FAST 102 is a good choice. The TB is a waste. Do your gears if you need more speed!!

It seems like for looks and a little bump then the FASTS is ok...not the best bang for the buck but....if you have money to burn lol.

I also want something to add something to my look under the hood...Currently its a little bland so the FAST and Fuel Rails will do that.

I dont think I want to go with Nitrous...its not a drag car and really on the street I am not sure I would use it that often.

If I could get 15-20 under the curve as one poster said then that would be great !!!

I have the FAST installed on my LS2 and I picked up around 30 under the curve and about 15 on the top end. The results on the LS3 will be a little less because of the more efficient manifold. Maybe someone who has it installed on a LS3 will chime in.

My understanding is it's a more productive mod on an LS2 vs LS3 as wiggins says... Up to you and if you want the cosmetic aspect it is a nice looking manifold. I think the TB is a waste from what I've read unless you get a ported matched set from a shop that specializes in such.... then the combined gains can be larger.

the Fast works. BUT its a $$ mod for the power. I would save that for last.

I have had it one a car and had ported stocks on others. they work like i said but its alot of money for that little extra.
