Default 4 wheel drive Vette?

What vehicles are the front hubs shared with? They are obviously from a 4 wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicle. I know the Caddy XLR is one that uses the same front hubs. But did they originate on that car.

Cadillac XLR started life as a C5 convertible with the C6 updates such as shortening the frame and a new specific windshield module. Brakes were the same as C6

This is the same thing with Porsche. On my Boxster and 911 you will find the exact same thing as the front wheels have splines as they were designed for the AWD version. It is easier to design a common platform that unique configurations.
