I am not sure if you're serious or not on this, but a salvage title would only apply if the cars are considered a totaled. I'm sure a few of those will be considered totaled so therefore if a title is needed it would be salvaged. However if the cars are not considered a total loss the original title would still apply.

I think most of us are thinking the exact same thing. But they hired company that says they know how to do it it'll take side thinks they said for six weeks.

It's not only the Vettes they have to fix. Let's hope they fix the structural issues at the NCM too.

According to the engineering firm that the NCM hired, there is no structural issues. It was just the slab area within the building and it did not effect the structure. They did say that they would be doing extra work to ensure there will no be any more sink holes anywhere at the museum.

I'm putting in a vote to create a new Corvette Forum category. We can call it the "Black Hole".

It can be the posting place for all the irritable, cantankerous old men who have nothing positive to say about anything. Then they can gripe, and argue with one another to their hearts content, and let the rest of us enjoy this forum.

In fact, I think it should go on a server in the Sky Dome.

Thanks! When I saw the news I immediately wondered if the cars were salvagable/fixable. Great to hear that they are!

It goes with the territory. There will always be those that post to complain about teh OP. You get to know many of them as time goes on. They know they really don't care about teh post, but just have to post their negitive remarks.

I guess that is why you posted the same answer that has already been posted here. Several times.

Actually, he posted once or twice but there have been umpteen comments (Including yours and mine now) trashing him which are more derailing this thread than his comment. .

Nah, that's because I didn't read most of this thread before posting.

It would be interesting to go through every forum here and count how many threads have been started about the sinkhole. I put the over/under at 50.

NO WAY! Really?! Does such a configuration exist here? If so - please tell me where to find it?!

IGNORE (pun intended) - found it! "Your Control Panel, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List".

I did not know that was there. Thank you, you just made my day.

Thanks for posting, some of us do not have time to read EVERY WORD of EVERY POST here.

Glad to see GM stepping up to the plate and was hoping they could salvage them
