I've read quite a few FOB issues and have yet to run across one like this.
Went to unlock car and can see flashing locks LED. Upon pressing the door release button, nothing. Went and got the other FOB. No joy, buttons on FOBs have no affect. Used key from FOB to release trunk.
As soon as trunk popped open alarm went off and took a few seconds to shut it off with FOB. Yes, FOB appears to work at this point. Pressed door release and that is working now. Anticipating dead battery pressed button and car fired right up. I am completely befuddled. Car battery is good. Key FOB is working. Did the car unlearn the FOB until I inserted the Key into the trunk? Makes no sense. Help !!!!

These cars have more of it than any other that I have heard about, and no, it didn't unlearn and then re-learn the fob, of that much I am certain.

Mystery solved. Changed battery in FOB, checked this morning, working as Advertised. Just doesn't explain the sudden working after open trunk with key. As Lisa stated F.M.
