Actually this would be the last place I would pick.

Parking next to light poles can bring on the sea gull droppings too.

I avoid trees all year around period and have been surprised to many times by sprinkles.
Talking about overbearing!
Think it's time for relaxation classes boomer.

No sprinklers there, and I said above, I left with no bird signature nor any traces of the dreaded "tree sap".
Musta been a miracle.

OP, are you sure there's not a "reserved" sign somewhere at that spot?

You can post a picture of any parking spot and some will post reasons why it would be a terrible place to park. Ultimately the answer is to never take the car out of the garage.

And don't you dare post a pic of the garage...there will be reasons found why the car is not safe there either.

The spot may of worked for you fine, my comments were meant as a broad picture. Just things I try and stay away from due to previous experiences.

I am actually relaxed just trying to pass on some experience.

Come on Pascal, if you truly wanted people to refrain from Wal_Mart opinions, or political comments, you simply would have said...."this thread was never intended as a platform for opinions about Wal-Mart, let's just keep it light, and talk about parking spaces."

But you didn't do that, you used the opportunity to project your Liberal narrative on Wal-Mart by saying,..."let's skip the lectures on capitalism's excesses and overbearing behaviors vis a vis one's car. It IS a car forum isn't it?"

You clearly express your political beliefs, and then ask that other's refrain from doing the same.

Personally I shop at Wal-Mart several times a month, I also know a number of employees, as well as a man who worked his way into management, now making $45k a year, with no college education.

The fact is, there are tens of thousands of folks who wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for Wal-Mart, and most are satisfied with their salaries, and benefits.

I expect Wal-Mart will continue to be the whipping boy for everyone who hates to see success, and a cause celeb for the Progressives.

Now, can we please get back to talking about parking spaces, this is a car forum isn't it?

The Wal Marts here all have very large parking lots and angular parking, and the spots are big. So there's no possible way to get a door ding unless somebody parks over the line.

The main danger is people taking shopping carts to their car, unloading, and leaving it there instead of taking it to the cart corral. I actually saw somebody one day park their car in a spot that had a cart in it, and push the cart with their car into the car in front of them.

Have to disagree with that statement, but since this is a car forum....

Don't park under power lines either. The birds love sitting on them in giant flocks. I made that mistake exactly once.
