Sorry.. I know it's your car.. I like the double "racing strips" but I don't think the hash stripes work together with the long ones.. IMO that is.

I know you did not ask for opinions and I normally won't reply with anything negative unless asked, but on the fender stripes, I am surprised at the size, unless that is what you requested. Normally Vettestripes, has or makes the stripes for the fender to the proper GS size.
It is however your car and our opinions should not drive you in one direction or another. As long as they are what you want and like them, that is all that counts.

Looks good. I have had mine since 08. Need to get Mike to redo them....rock chips.
Glad you like the pinstripe...that was my idea.

Pardon my curiousity but aren't the hash stripes supposed to end at the peak of the fender? Just wonderin. In any event, if you like it don't ask the forum 'cause you won't get the overwhelming support your probably looking for. There's guys out there that just want to rain on your parade.

And that's why they only belong on the drivers side fender since that's the side you'd see from the inside of a racetrack. Of course if the OP wants to put them on the rear fender or anywhere else, that's his choice. Another poster correctly pointed out that they should only go from the wheel well opening to the top of the fender.
OP, did you specifically ask for the stripes to extend all the way to the hood opening or did the shop take it for granted that that's what you wanted, not knowing how they should be properly placed?

The fender stripes first appeared on the Corvette's that were racing at Le Mans in the early 60's and they were use to identify the team cars. There was no mention of Grand Sport. When the first Corvette Grand Sport was built in 1963 they did not have fender harsh marks. It was not until the C4 1996 Grand Sport that the fender stripes were officially tagged as Grand Sport Stripes.
