base c6 tiresand wheels to gs set up?
going to do a widebody on my 08 base car. question is will my rear base size tires fit on the gs wheels or do i need to buy new tires?

Not the case, GS/Z06 wheels are 10" wide in front. 245/40R18 will fit up to a 9.5" wide wheel. Even if it did fit, it will not look "right" to you as the sidewalls will be angled out from tread to wheel. Depending on the tire, the tread width would be as much as 1.5-2" narrower than the wheel.
On the rear, you definitely can not use the stock 285/35R19 as they are typically only good to 10.5-11" width, and the rear GS/Z06 wheels are 12" wide.
BTW, if you're interested I have a full set of Chrome GS wheels with tires and TPMS for sale here.

You're right, not sure why I had 10" in my notes. However I still think most people would be very unhappy with how a 245 will look on a 9.5" rim.
