Default Spring.... I think it's really here!!!!!!

A nice day today to spend some time in the garage and get that spring oil change done. Thanks to EVRose's suggestion to use a long extension to get at the oil drain plug it was a breeze. Now she's ready for summer.

I hear ya!! Just pulled mine out of hibernation and cleaned her up. I love this time of year!!

On a side note, is that crossbar part of the jack stands or jack? What brand and where did you get them? Looks like a sweet setup.

Thx...

Its just a crossbar on the jack. The jack stands are next to it for safety. I picked it up at Northern Tool.

I was all set to pull mine out tonight but the forecast still shows snow is expected tomorrow and mid next week. Will this darn winter ever end

Y'all need to look on the bright side. No weed to pull or grass to mow. Plus, look at all the money you're saving in gas . . . . . . ...........................

Glad spring finally made it there. Been here for a while....as have the bugs!! Have to clean the car after every drive.

Why do you raise the rear to change the oil? I never have...just drive on my 2 x 12 ramps and raise the drivers side a little. remove plug and lower back on ramps to let drain.
Am I missing something? Seems the plug is at the back of the pan so oil should drain better with back lower than front. Plus I'm lazy.

Maybe Randy rotates his tires ........... j/k Prolly to keep the weight of the car off the tires during winter storage up north. Also, with enough ground clearance, that set up would allow him to put the car in gear and gently run it to keep the transmission and rear end lubricants on critical parts. No dry start up that way once their 2 day summer arrives.

Should be in the mid 70's here today, Randy! I also plan on blowing out all the gas in my snow blower to make it official!

Hey - you going to the Bash this year?

I was kinda thinking that same thing while I was laying under the car putting the plug back in...

Hey - you going to the Bash this year?
I did that exact thing to my snow blower as I waited for the oil to drain out of the Vette.

No, unfortunately we cant make the bash this year.

Well, no snow this morning some rain and wind. So took the time while temps warmed up to service my ATV from the winter use. Then I uncovered my vert and moved it out of the pole barn and into its rightful place in my garage. Did some cleaning, checked fluids and tire pressures.

Now just need my driveway and lane to clear up enough so I can get out and onto hardtop. Can't come soon enough, got my first drive last year on April 19th and am hoping that date holds for this year as well.

Hang in there, most all of the snow is gone down here and the city has swept all the salt and sand off the streets. Hopefully you're back on the road again real soon.

Here today, northeast Ohio, it was gorgeous. Took the top off the car, drove about an hour through the National Park, had lunch, and a 45 minute cruise home. Great day for a ride.

Saw 3 other C6's (none of them waved) and a C7 in Laguna Blue with silver race strips and Kalahari interior. Sweet car!
