Default Deep wheels

How do you keep the deep wheels clean due to brake dust? Will rake dust hurt the finish chrome?

Washing regular is the key. If left uncleaned for extended periods....brake dust is a surface killer!

Any narrow type brush will work. It may sound strange but a nylon bristle oval shaped toilet bowl brush is perfect. Squeeze the two sides together and there you go. It would be tough to damage the wheel unless you use an abrsive brush of some sort. There are some wheel brushes probably check autogeek.

My wheels are similar to your pix with a deep aluminum inside hub and the chrome outside rim trying to keep the inside hub cleaner without scratching the aluminum
The wire frame of the toilet brush scratched (probably pushing too hard)

I clean mine simply reaching through the spokes onto the barrell with a wash mit. Every so often I lift the car and clean them all completely. That being said, mine's not a DD.
