I got mine from Amazon as I remember. Lots of places on the web have them. Also Harbor Freight.

I got a harbor freight one and it works good.

If I did it over again, I would get one for my smartphone.
Do a search in amazon for ELM327. Most are under $20. Then just plug it into the OBDII port, download the app to your smartphone and you now have a bluetooth/wifi scantool.
Make sure you get the correct one for android or iphone depending on what you have.

I have one of the $20 ones and it wont connect to my girlfriends Mustang. Plus any app is extra.

Will likely get one of these in near future. Includes an app and supports the CAN protocol too. This is Android or Windows only, as is bluetooth. Have to get a Wifi one for iPhone, I'm sure they have something similar in wifi.
