My back up lights are not working in my 2008 base M6. Checked all fuses and bulbs seem to be good as they light up when I unlock the car. Ive searched and only found info on this issue in the c5 section. I ordered a replacement switch for my M6 tranny but before go through the work of replacing it I figured I would check to see if im missing anything. Anyone have this issue? Find it very annoying that a back up switch would go with only 26k on it.
Thanks
Mike

Switch is easy to check with a Ohm meter.
Out of reverse/ball out, meter should read zero .
In reverse/ball pushed in, should show resistance.
The only no fun part is getting under the car to pull it/ to check it.

I guess I was just hoping there was some other stupid cause/easy fix I was unaware of.
