On my brothers car he had a battery kill switch in the trunk. Originally installed because the car was draining it all the time. But I assume it would work pretty well for theft deterrent. It was a simple switch on the back right, really discreet.

And the kill switch is not going to help when the car is dragged up onto a tow truck. A kill switch can be installed in any of about 1,000 ways on a C6 since there are so many connections that need to be made with the BCM, ECM etc in order for the car to start and run.

The plot thickens, the driver did it with the tow truck in the alley...but wait, when did the tow truck enter the plot????

Kill switch is worthless on a C6. Break the window, climb through window and then disconnect the battery once inside, then push/pull/drag car away.

In reality, you already have an effective kill switch in the fob. A tow truck is the way they will steal it. For the purpose, the fob is far more effective and hard to defeat than a simple kill switch. The fob is basically an encrypted kill switch.
