Default kill switch anti theft switch

Has anyone here installed a hidden kill switch on their c6?
I want to cut the fuel pump on the ground wire.

so...you worried about theft when half the time one cannot open the door nor start the car WITH the key fob in their pocket.

So I guess I should have asked how did somebody "illegally" steal the car without a fob.

On my brothers car he had a battery kill switch in the trunk. Originally installed because the car was draining it all the time. But I assume it would work pretty well for theft deterrent. It was a simple switch on the back right, really discreet.

Not a C6 I presume? They have to have your fob.

This story is like reading obituaries where you want to know how someone died but all you get to read is: "it was a tragic but bizarre accident".

And the kill switch is not going to help when the car is dragged up onto a tow truck. A kill switch can be installed in any of about 1,000 ways on a C6 since there are so many connections that need to be made with the BCM, ECM etc in order for the car to start and run.

The plot thickens, the driver did it with the tow truck in the alley...but wait, when did the tow truck enter the plot????

Kill switch is worthless on a C6. Break the window, climb through window and then disconnect the battery once inside, then push/pull/drag car away.

That's why the city was kind enough to supply me with these extra anti-theft devices! Combined with a kill switch, I cant lose!

In reality, you already have an effective kill switch in the fob. A tow truck is the way they will steal it. For the purpose, the fob is far more effective and hard to defeat than a simple kill switch. The fob is basically an encrypted kill switch.
