Question for c6 Callaway Owners
Question for Callaway owners that do not have a certified Calloway dealer in the city where they live.
How is the warranty work handled through Callaway for the first 3 years 36,000 miles? Second, who and how is service work performed on the car after the warranty? Scares me to think my Chevy dealer is qualified to work on these. . They have enough trouble working on a stock C6. I dont think there that many Callaways running around Louisville.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Chevrolet dealer we have pointed owners towards in the Louisville, as we've had owners from there before
The Callaway Powertrain Warranty supplements the GM Coverage for 3/36 standard, extendable to 5/100. Simply put, Callaway covers or GM covers, but it's transparent to the customer.

Have you seen the 2013 Calloway, convertible, 6 spd manual, less than 500 miles, that is for sale on E Bay? The car is located near Chicago, Carol Stream Ill, I believe.
I will find the item # on E Bay if you need it.
Crystal Red, Titanium gray interior, Buy it now price of $73977, to give you an idea. Item # is = 3908 4147 4135. Would love to have in my garage. lol. Good Luck

Yes I have seen it. It has two-tone titanium grey/ebony interior, with the crystal red exterior. I am not sure what I think about that color combination. Plus I would prefer to have and automatic, due to several medical conditions that I have.
Ofnthe few that I have found, almost all of them are signicantly overpriced. For those who own a Callaway, they would say they are killer deals. Here is my thoughts on pricing/ownership:
1) At this point on 2013's, even though they are technically new, they are coming significantly closer to being 2 model years old, and will valued as 2 yeats old the day they are driven off the dealer lot.
2) The price of the majority of Callaways at dealers today, are listed roughly at the same price as seven or eight months ago.
3) The C7 Z06 is not that far away, with its low base price (estimated at $84,000 per the recent Motor Trend report), high horsepower, and being able to purchased/serviced locally with mechanics trained to work on the C7.
4) With the C7, can order the exact color combinations and options.
5) As I mentioned in a previous post, I being at least 200 miles from a authorized Callaway dealer, I am still concerned about my local chevy dealer being capable to service a Callaway.
