Just did this on mine. On the inside lower wheel well opening there is a 8mm screw. Remove that. That frees up the lower rocker enough to get those crittters out of there. Once they are out simply reinstall the screw. There is a thread somewhere on here where a member installed some foam rubber weather stripping up the wheel well while the screw is out and it seals up the opening where they enter. Good luck.

I do mine a couple times a year. You will be surprised at how much road dirt and stones are in there that you don't see.

I'm glad I'm not the only crazy **** clean freak...thanks for the post

I noticed the pebbles when I was installing my calipers and tried air pressure but that was a bust. Mine is up on jack stands now....will do this DIY tomorrow after work...

I had the same issue. I pulled the fender liner back, cleaned out the litter and taped up the back side of the horizontal (and lower vertical) seam with new generation foil duct tape, no more rocks.

I got tired of cleaning mine all the time. All the weather striping in the world didn't stop it. I just don't worry about it anymore unless I'm entering a car show.

Task done. But, I can see I too will not loose sleep over it. Just knowing it can be cleaned when need is good to know.

Got to love the forum.
