Hey guys so I have 06 Corvette base with about 78 - 79k miles on it and it appears that my tranny went out.
It is stuck in 4th gear and the shifter seems like it will go into some gears but the other gears are pretty much blocked off.

If my tranny is out though would an ls7 tranny work for the car or what would be my best option to get a beefier tranny that could handle more abuse?

Located in DFW Metroplex too so if there's any good transmission shops around here yall let me know.
