I just bought my z06 and was having an issue with my door not opening when I press the button. I had to press it several times before that contacts would recognize and open my door. I read a couple of threads about how people fixed it but didn't see any pictures. I went ahead and fixed it within 5 minutes on each door. I took pictures for the next person as well. Hope this helps!
As a side note, make sure when you unhook the wiring harness from the door switch that you don't just let go of it and it falls back through the hole into the inside of the door. That makes for a lot more work.
I have trouble getting my doors to open and I'm not sure this is the answer. The door will release and open a bit, but I have to usually have to click the button another time to get the door to open completely. It happens more times than it doesn't. Would this be the issues or is something else causing this? Anyone else have the same issue?
