Default Hatch Button

The outside button for the rear hatch is not working, but the FOB will open the hatch, and the inside button works. It's a 2010 GS coupe.
I'll have the dealer take a look at it when I take it in for inspection
in August.
But for now, any ideas?
Thanks, Kliph

It's just dirty. There is a DIY on here somewhere how to take it apart and clean it. Very simple.

I had to clean mine too.

While you're back there, make sure the metal key works too.

The concept is when you have the rear lens out to pull and clean the button, lube the linkage of the lock while you are in there pulling/reinstalling the hatch release button.
