Default Magnaflow exhaust interior drone question

I have been researching aftermarket exhaust on the web to replace my exceptionally loud B&B Bullet exhaust that came with my 2007.
I would like to buy something locally and my buddy suggested Magnaflow exhaust. Looking for a more than stock but with some muscle. The B&B's drone was unbearable in town or going into the mountains.
Any advice on Magnaflow?

Thanks

If you just go with their mufflers, they also drone badly.

I had the Magnaflow cat-backs on my 06 and also have them on my 13. I found that if I drive in 5th gear instead of 6th, nearly all of the drone is gone and rpms only increase slightly.

I like the Magnaflows on my 8.1L Sierra, but can't beat my Corsas for the '07 Z51.

I know nothing about Magnaflows...but I put SLP Powerflo's on my '05 and it gave me a drone-free freeway cruise and a louder than stock tone.

I pulled up some YOu tube video's and they sound good. I am making the appointment to get them installed. Won't be hard to beat the terrible drone I currently have.
Thanks for the advice

Default Drone

I had Magna Flows on a highly modded C5. The drone was almoat unbearable from 1400 to 1800 rpm. Currently have Corsa Sport on stodk C6. Love them, no drone.

I've had Magnaflow's on a C4 and later on an Armada (SUV). In both cases it was more drone than I cared for at the sour spot, but they sound great otherwise.

You might consider opting for the ever-popular NPP retrofit with mild2Wild control. Best of both worlds and no drone when open.

I've had the cat back on two different cars including a c6. They drone. Its not obnoxious but it is there.

The new Borla is great with no drone and the Corsa is great too with no drone. The Borla wins the idle contest but Corsa wins the quality contest slightly imo..

I have had the complete Magnaflow cat back system on for 7 years. No drone to me. Nice sound for a C6.

Had Magnaflows on a 99 Cobra. Drone was pretty tough in a 2-3,000 rpm wide band. Great quality, but they do drone.

I have Borla ATAK's on my Z. There's no drone to me at all when cruising. I can have a conversation with no issues. Sounds awesome when I let her rip as well.
