Powered Subwoofer
Has anyone ever tried a self powered subwoofer in their C6. I'm looking at the Rockford Fosgate P300-10. It has really good reviews. I just sold my 02 Z with full JL audio system, so I am familiar with quality. I trade cars fairly often, and like the ease of install of these types. Any feedback would be appreciated...

I have a sound ordinance 8 inch hooked up to a kenwood system and gave it the base it needed. It does not interfere with the targa stored in the corvette.

I have a lloyds carpet mat in the back. I got some velcro strips, the hard ones and stuck them to the bottom of the speaker. The velcro grabs or latches on to the carpet. I've never had an issue with it moving. Plus I also have the partition to hide it.

It would be a wordy explanation so maybe a picture IS worth a 1,000 words. Schematic below lol. no ugly straps to work thier way loose, no sliding around the back of the car. Steadily mounted but easily removeable. I also covered the top of the tube with carbon look vinyl. Metal strips and velcro are from Home Depot. The metal strips are there because the velcro wouldnt attach to the OEM carpet and I am sure one sharp turn would just roll up the corner of the stock carpet.
