Thanks!
What type of condition were the rotors in..uneven wear or gouging, and how many miles did you have before you replaced them..I guess mileage would be irrelevant if you tracked or raced the car.

Unless you like the bling, base brakes will work just fine. Autozone/O'Reilly's, etc pads are OK for general street use. Go with ceramics if the dust bothers you.

AC Delco Ceramics.. all four corners for under $100 on popular shopping sites. Best street pads IMO.... Your rotors are probably fine, but just buy OEM unless you want to upgrade performance or appearance. I use DBA T4 Club Spec as an "affordable" upgrade for my dual use car.. I hit the track about 6-8 times per season. Go through front rotors once a season.. Rears are good for two years at least... I use Carbotech track pads for track days (XP12 AND XP10).. You wouldn't want to use this type pad on the street.. WAY too much noise and dust, but boy do they bite when threshold breaking at the track.

My rotors were still in good condition. I was just getting tired of all the brake dust from the original pads on the rims. All is good now with the Akebonos

If you do decide to go with them:

Here are the part number(s) for front and rears: Akebono ACT731 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set & Akebono ACT732 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set
