As I understand AC Delco is factory fitment so you already asked yourself then how you feel. Soothe your soul and get quality ceramic pads.

AC Delco offers semi-metallic and ceramic pads. Ceramics are usually less dust, I'd recommend them if you don't track your car.

This is the pad I would suggest below. If interested I will be happy to help you.

Carbotech™ Bobcat 1521™ The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non-corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.

If you want no noise then stick with factory.

Just to be clear AC Delco no longer makes any parts. They buy them from other sources.
There is a BIG difference from the AC Dura friction line and the 170 series AC Delco line.
Dura is Raybestos, made in China, in the box and the 170 series is an OE supplier. There will be a big difference in pricing as well.
If you like the mileage with your old pads along with the noise and the dust then go back to the AC Delco 170 series. That was a semi metallic pad made by PBR. In 2012 and 2013 GM changed the base Corvette to a ceramic pad made by Akebono. This is the first time GM has put a ceramic pad on the Corvette. Akebono is available outside of the dealership.
Then or course there are many other sources of pads. Some on the forum have even gone to the private label pad from many of the big box retailers. If they only knew where those pads came from and how they don't even come close to OE standards. Price seems to drive their purchase.
Probably not much help after reading this. The point I wanted to make is concerning the AC Delco name. It is not the same as it was before. To be fair none of the names from Ford or Chrysler parts division are the same as before..
