Where is Mileage stored..??
Is the mileage on an 11 Vette GS stored in the speedo head or is it in the BCM (or any other location)?? I have been told both and I don't want parts put into the car that are not going to correct the problem the car is having (all at my expense).
Can anybody confirm and say where it is stored?

Push the 'trip' button until 'odo' is displayed in the DIC. If you're looking for some hidden info I'd think an OBD II inspection station could find it for you.

I'm quite sure it's redundant locations. Current car has had the cluster, ECM and BCM replaced and the mileage still read correct afterwards. Possible the EBCM module could store it too.
