Also, white Vettes rule!
Damn, good to know! Mine does this a lot! OP I took my car to the track, had to say goodbye to the flawless paint job a long time ago....it's not a million dollar car but I understand you being upset....the first scuff on a pair of white shoes kinda sucks but after that it just builds character.
EDIT: White Vettes do not rule, black Vettes do and everyone knows it

Yeah I understand how you feel. I had my vette for a week and pulled it into the garage. I got too close to my work bench and a vice mounted on the bench caught the underside of the passenger mirror and scratched the heck out of the paint. I wet sanded resprayed and clear coated (bought color matched spray paint from an online company). You would never know. Since then I have had to repair a few other spots on my front valance because it is so low to the ground.

My front bumper does the same. Though I have not bought the clips to repair it yet, I plan on doing it soon.

I would doubt having that small area repaired would cost too much. To me it's no different than a door ding. I would have that repaired as well.

The clips you need to get the corner to sit flush again:
11561329
11609871

I am not sure which one it is by the part number. I know it is the bigger part (rectangular) the other one is a smaller round part. Very simple it install. A few threads on how-to-install here in the forum.
I have spider cracks on my bumper from critters running across the road.....I just live with it for now. Good luck.

This is going to cost a little, but if the paint is perfect, and you want it to stay that way, look into xpel. It will protect the paint and you won't notice the abrasions you have...

11561329 is the bigger rectangular one. This one breaks at the post which the bumper "clicks" onto.

As far as the hairline webbing, just clearbra the entire front. That way you'll cover up the web and make it barely noticeable.

I'll do whatever I need to so that I don't have to see them anymore. The Dr. Color Chip stuff won't work? I feel like brushing it in may fill them.

By the way, here's the car...

Beautiful car.

You might want to consider leaving it alone until a professional takes care of it. Sometimes those quick fixes make it look worse, drawing more attention to that area of you car.

I know this to be true.

Wow, that must have been a beautiful 'vette.

Too bad those cracks in the front ruined it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

40,000 miles on a 2008 and not so much as a rock chip that would mean it would have more than likely been repainted already before you got the car and that may be why the paint cracked when you pushed on it.

I agree with all of the above about being repainted. If your going to drive it you will get chips. You need to get over it. That's life.
It a beautiful C6 except for the hair line crack's.
