Is this a 2013 base Vette? It's posted for sale posted as a 2014?

No way.
As a matter of fact, those wheels haven't been used since 2007, I believe.

With the chicklets on there and those wheels I'm betting either 06 or 07. Certainly not worth $40K.

It's a C6. It has the GM chicklets on the rear fenders which were only installed from MY2006 to MY2009 or 2010.

No, that rear end is definitely a C6.

Ask to see the VIN. 10th character will tell you the model year.

5 = 2005, 6 = 2006, 7 = 2007, 8 = 2008, 9= 2009, A=2010, B= 2011,
C = 2012, D = 2013

MY2007 was generally the last year but there may have been some left over early in MY2008 if anyone wanted them. Those Chrome QX3 wheels are still listed in the MY2008 sales ordering guide.

Has to be pre 2008 as it has the silver center console with Tombstone. I highly doubt someone retro fitted one in a newer vette

From the steering wheel and the center console bezel it's clearly an '06 or '07.

Good catch. Plus the 2008 and later added fake stitching surrounding the upper center cluster.

Man you guys are good. I caught the chicklet but totally missed the wheels and the tombstone/gray console.
Are those two tone seats factory? It's doesn't look like a 4LT. Or was that even available?

I dont think the $40k price is a listing error and some poor soul will probably fall for it.

My best guess is that is a 07. Has the steering wheel controls like mine. 06 did not have them and 08 had a different radio bezel.

The seats were a factory option.

Perhaps it's a 2014 with a C6 body kit for those of us who haven't warmed up to the C7 styling yet!

07 was the first year for dual color seats and the radio controls on the steering wheel.

It's not '06 because of the steering wheel controls on the one side only...and the console looks like '07 to me also. Those wheels ended in mid '08 model year. Also, that sill plate did not come in until the latter part of the '07 model year.

With the vast amount of resource info available in nanoseconds on the internet, uninformed poor soul buyers are few are far between these days.

I'm quite pleasantly amazed at the results and analysis done in such short time period just based on photos. I'm going to have to bring you guys next time I go shopping for a Vette.
