Default Brake upgrade on base coupe

I have a 2007 coupe with the F55 option. Front wheels are 18" and rears are 19" .Can I put ZO6 brakes and rotors on it? If not zo6 what upgrade kits will fit? Thanks!

Do you want to do this for cosmetic reasons or are you looking for some perceived performance improvement?

No, Z06 brake calipers won't work with your stock wheels without big spacers and longer studs. Very few larger calipers will work with the stock wheels without big spacers and longer studs. If you're willing to get new wheels then your options increase greatly.

Here's just one of many prior discussions to give you an idea:

One vendor did advertise wheels that can hold the Z06 brakes though. I can't remember which one but it is in Corvette magazine. Forget it with stock wheels though.

You can go with ACE Slick wheels and they will fit your OEM tires and clear Z06 brakes.
