Default 2013 Corvette 427 Built by County Corvette

Hey everyone,

I wanted to post up details of a 427 convertible build we recently finished at CC Performance (County Corvette). This customer was looking to utilize their factory LS7 with a full heads/cam/intake package we specs for him. More specific mods are listed below.
  • CCP Custom NA Cam Kit
  • WCCH Stage 2 Heads with New Valves
  • FAST Intake Manifold – Port Matched
  • FAST Fuel Rail Kit
  • Ported Throttle Body
  • Corsa Air Intake
  • Kooks Long Tube Headers
  • Billet Valve Covers
  • Custom Dyno Tune
  • 575rwhp & 529tq

Being a convertible, this beautiful 427 vert is absolutely a cruiser. We spec'd a custom cam for this customer that would produce solid power, have a nice exhaust rumble, but more importantly have excellent street manners. In the end, this street machine put down a modest 575rwhp 529tq on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC!

Of course, if anyone is looking for assistance with their next performance, restoration, or even collision repair project- please feel free to give us a shout!

-Shane

I'm the same way Mikado463. I love a car that could be daily driven if desired and power wherever and whenever you need it!

Agreed! The sound of that 427 at idle... oh man. Lets just say I'll definitely be installing a similar package on my '07 z06 this winter.

Thanks for your support too

Good looking car, cool photos, and solid power.

Any reason for the fuel rails? Just aesthetics?

Sounds very nice. Is this legal here in the keystone state (emissions nonsense)? ballpark?

Nicely done. That's how a 427 should sound.

Using a FAST 102 intake the customer would need to at least switch to LS3 fuel rails for clearance, so he decided to go with the FAST billet rails for additional aesthetics. Can't say I blame him though, they look really mean sitting on top of that manifold!

This particular corvette used a catless Xpipe, so it is not emissions legal. However, in PA if you drive less than 5,000 miles a year, your car will be emissions exempt.

Awesome job!! Video is killer!

I'm actually having a custom tune done on my 427 next week. Like you we've got one of the Best Corvette Tech (right in the Chevy dealership I have my serviced at) in the business less than 10 miles from my house here in the suburbs of Chicago.
What can one expect (HP) from the tune only? I also run a Halltecch SuperBee CAI.

Thx

Just read your comment! I'm with ya my friend. Although my wife loves the 427 and never restricts me on the car spending I try not to get too crazy. Already doing a new Kenwood (891) head unit, KL amp and KL subs this week.

Shane's 427 on that video is what I want mine to sound like!

Thanks for the kind words Lerxst! Sorry I'm responding back to your post so late. I've been out of the office this whole week, unfortunately.

Anyways, going from a stock tune & Halltech to a custom tune & Halltech, I'd say you're looking at 15rwhp all around. The final output will vary depending on the dyno, weather, and quality of tune. Keep that in mind
