Default lowering on stock bolts ….quick question

For those that lowered their C6's on the stock bolts, how much lower did it give you ?

any correlation to how many turns = how many inches ?

I can't tell you how many turns, but I can tell you that you won't get "inches".

I turned it all the way on my 2005 and maybe got like a half inch drop. If you want to go lower on the stock bolts you will need to cut some of the bushing off.

Homer, understood the 'inches' thing, I should have said 'fraction thereof'

Hello, please excuse my ignorant questions, what screws are the ones to move in order to lower it?

My car settled almost a full inch but it didn't measure the same on both sides. If you want it low, buy replacement bolts.

For me, I did the rear only, all the way and it settled at around half in lower than original.

The above car sure doesn't look lowered!

I got about 3/4 of an in.

I am with tanks full 2 tight fingers between top of tire and top center of fender. I am not thick fingered either.

Yeah not much of a difference on stock bolts. I got about half inch.

that's my plan as well, rears only since it is there that it appears disproportionate in relation to the front fender gap.

I assuming that with the stock bolt run all the way and no cut bushing ?

No problem, the pics are now a little over a week old. I've driven the car plenty during that time.

Lowered all the way on stock bolts. Dropped it about 3/4" front and rear.

A lot depends on how it was set from the factory... it can vary.

I might be able to squeeze another 1/2" if I cut the bushings.
