Golf or the C6 GS ?
Can't figure out if I get excited about going to golf most days...due to the 18 holes ahead or the drive to get there. I cant wait to T Off but then I cant wait to finish so I can drive home.. maybe I need a small C6 like Golf Cart.

The ride home is nice if the round wasn't.
I don't take the C6 to the bi weekly 36 golf rounds..... To much excitement in one day !
I did shoot a 69 the other day and followed up with a 75 the second round, not to shabby for me. Lately I have been high 70's even knocking at the 80's door a few times.
Maybe I should take the Vette....

You ought to pick a golf course a bit more farther away. like the one in a town that requires you to drive on twisty roads to get there... I gave up golf.. except for the 19th hole

Used to drive 50 miles each way to a semi-public golf course.
Now I have a decent semi public course around the corner that used to be private.
I like the convenience, but really do miss the Vette rides.
Amazing how well the coupe fits 2 set of clubs ++.

I played all the main sports growing up and golf is by far the hardiest and challenging and most rewarding.
Very difficult to repeat a good round, let alone a succession of great shots.
But when you do it is hard to match.
I will say that if one does not like the outdoors and the weather elements along with competition then I understand. It is a difficult game to become somewhat proficient at....it does have a shallow learning curve.

Currently 3.6 index and a high this year of 5.8.
Last year a low of 1.8 and a high of 5.9.
I play all year round an am usually first or second off in the morning then follow up when I can get on for the second round. We do experience frost delays and it is no fun until the sun comes out.
Winter golf hurts the index no doubt. But I least I get to play, so no complaints.

Sounds like Corvette owners that are golfers have lower handicaps than the rest of the group.. I play to a 7.2.
Playing in Match Play finals today... he has to beat me twice to be the Champ -- I only have to win once. Then Club Championship this weekend.

do you park far enough away so errant tee shots can't hit your C6?

well, the better you play, the quicker you get back to the car; a win/win!

I enjoy golf as much as the next guy, but in my opinion it is not a sport. It is an activity or as has also been noted, a game. The difference between the two is if you can spend just as much time stuffing your face and drinking beer as you do actually expending physical effort, then you're engaged in an activity. For this reason, bowling is also an activity and not a sport no matter how hard it is to bowl a perfect game.
