leaking transmission

leaking transmission
my '05 z51 manual transmission with 42k miles appears to be leaking...have found small puddles on floor and at the bottom seam between tranny/differential area..it seems to be leaking from the top of the tranny and finding its way to that area...could this be oil cooler lines? or a more serious issue...do i need to drop the assembly to fix it?
