Default Painted Door Handles (Body Color) - Experienced Opinions Wanted

For those who have installed body colored exterior door handles please provide some feedback as to how well they wear over time (cosmetically) and whether, based on your experience, you recommend/don't recommend going this route?

Thanks.

I've had mine on for 5 years...no issues. Since you actually reach inside the handle to open I can't imagine there being an issue with "visible" wear. I wanted my doors handles to blend into the car versus stand-out in contrast (black). Heck it's inexpensive and if you don't like you can always switch back...

Same here. Just a little rub mark on the edge on passenger side. No one sees it but me.

Day I took delivery of my C6 in Nov 2004, the LMB match 'door handles' went on…and ~10 years later look a good as the day I installed them.

IMO, color matching the door handles and rear "spoiler/CBL" greatly improves the appearance of the C6…not into the satin black look of the OEM ones.

I don't like to spend a lot of money (cheap) so I just removed the handles altogether and it looks great and no Ill effects.

I just took a longer look at your car. Did you simply remove the OEM black handles???
