Default 05 C6..AH issue and break lock up

I got the dreaded right front break lock up and service active handling warning on DIC yesterday. It is a 05 c6 Z51 with telescoping steering column. Isn't there a clip that needs to be installed? Anyone have a part number or link to order? Thanks very much. This was scary as s***!

That was a recall. Have your dealer check if it was done. If not they will do it for free.

Good luck. My '05 got the recall, which was a "clip" on the wiring harness near the steering column. Luckily, when my brake grabbed, I was just leaving my driveway. Some people say it only happens at slow speeds. I can't take that chance. So, with the car also needing 4 $1,000 shocks and a few other issues, I traded it in for a newer model.

The only thing that I find strange is that sometimes the active handling has to recalibrate itself. I may have seen a warning before about "Service active handling" or (SES) but I can't remember as it was a fast flash on Display Information Center.

To get that column lock problem you must have the manual transmission?

Do you have telescopic steering wheel? That is what causes the plug to come loose and trigger tje SAH message.

Do you have a link or sellers name so I can purchase? Im definitely never bringing my car back to a dealership. It happen to me when I had traction control off and doing donuts.
