Road trip in an amazing car
Just got back from a 2500 mile road trip from Montreal to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. The Vette is simply an amazing car. I averaged 27.4 mpg on the highway doing about 75mph most of the time. The total average for the whole trip including the 2 week stay in Myrtle beach was 24.6 mpg. For a car with that kind of power blows my mind. On top of that I managed to get 2, 7 1/2' beach umbrellas 2 chairs 1 large suitcase 1 overnight bag and 3 duffel bags with shoes & so on in the trunk. Incredible!
There seems to be this constant seat bashing of the C6 which to me is absurd. After driving a 12 hr day I did not feel at all uncomfortable. I usually drive my G35 and my butt didn't really feel any different in the Vette.
It really was an amazing road trip I enjoyed every minute of it and I am looking forward to next year.
I have posted a pic of my 2 precious girls.

They can't be beat for a fun road car. Our longest was a bit over 5000 miles doing Route 66, and back home. What a hoot.
