It A&& Holes like that that give us all a bad rap. If you are that concerned I have just two suggestions, 1. Find a space at the far end of the lot and 2. Leave it at home.

It takes a special kind of douchebag to park like that but like BWF was getting at, it's worse that it's a Vette owner. It would never occur to me to park like that just out of respect to the public but if I did, I'd worry about coming out to a keyed up car. I know the Jeep guy was trying to make a point and God knows I've wanted to do the same but he looks pretty bad too.

Jeep guy left his too much room to get in the car.
Had it been me and my DD beater truck, would have parked a lot closer, making him go in the passengers door and climbed over the center console to get to the drivers set. Trust me, I have great insurance and he would have done more damage to his vets door, then to the side of my car trying to get into the vet with no room to do so.
Simply, in a vet, you park in the back of the lot, far away from where other may even thinking about parking to keep the car from being dinged up.
To pull the inconsiderate double space parking front and center, just asking for someone to screw with you instead.

Sometimes a little public humiliation (sp) is all people understand. Kinda like someone telling someone else to get off their phone while they are checking out at a register somewhere. Then the phone user looks at the person like..."I dare you to be so rude as to point out how rude I am".....LOL.

What a clown. Looks like he added to the spectical by taking the front two spaces. Amazing how entitled some people can be.

Whats wrong with some people. I hate to say it but if someone would do something to a car parked like that, it would be hard to feel sorry for them. I park way in the back and take one spot, no matter how empty the lot is.

I park my car centered in my space and have not had a problem. I have personally seen other motorist being real careful getting in and out of their cars. Proper parking etiquette seems to invoke respect.

I was unaware that using double spaces was frowned on by the vette community.
While I would never park front and center using two spaces. I always use two spaces and park as far away from the crowd of cars as possible.
If the parking lot is packed or there are only a few spaces available I would certainly only use one space.
