Black floor mats with cashmere interior
Just bought my first vette. A 2012 GS vert, crystal red with a two tone black and cashmere interior. I want to buy some Lloyd floor mats and I was thinking maybe black mats would be cool. Anybody have black mats with the cashmere/black interior, if so how's it look, pics would be great if you got em.
Thanks

I have this as well on my '05. The mats I have are ebony, not pure black.
It's one of the first things I did. I've not regretted it for one moment. I think it's a great combo.

What I have found is the lighter color floor mats look very nice but they will not stay clean and pristine for long. The black mats are really the best choice in a car that will be driven for any length of time. Black does not show dirt and grease like the lighter mats do and in my opinion they look just fine with the lighter interiors.

Cocomats, black with Taupe (tan) spots.
The thick, open weave allows crud to sink down into the weave and disappear. Take 'em out and vacuum every 5k miles, use the powerwasher at a self service wash once per year (15k miles).
They do shed some little "hairs", but not very visible.

Saw them up close, and don't care for them. They remind me of carpets in the entranceway of a business or a den. But whatever floats your boat. Nobody else's opinion should matter.

I have the exact same car as you--2012 Crystal Red coupe w/ebony/cashmere interior--and I picked up a set of ebony Lloyds mats from a forum member, shampooed them, Scotchguarded them, and put them in. I think the ebony on the floor looks fine, and it's a lot easier to keep clean than the OEM cashmere that the car came with. I also went a step further and made vinyl heel pad from a new--non-Vette--tan driver's side mat I had, and used double-sided tape to adhere it to the Lloyds mat. I think it looks good and it works great as the vinyl pad takes the abuse/wear instead of the mat's carpet pile.

Yes, you can Google it.
They certainly aren't the only good mats you can buy, but we use our car a lot and wanted something that looks good with minimal care. The first set got worn after about 60k miles and we bought another set.
