Default Floor tiles

I am thinking about tiling the garage floor, where I park the Vette. Has anybody
used any tiles other than race deck? I would like to compare products and prices
before I buy.
Thanks

Used Racedek. Very easy to install for professional look. You can also check swisstrax (diamond trax and rib trax) as alternative but since they are bigger in dimension, pattern design was problematic on my end.

I bought from Swisstrax inc. Several years ago . Still in great shape. They were 16 inch squares.

I am in the same process....trying to decide which tiles to buy. I like the made in America deal but the best deal I can get on RaceDeck is at $3.00 / tile......I know you can get stuff made in China for 1 or 2 bucks a tile......I'm kinda pissed at China right now so will keep looking. I will probably go with Racedeck......I know the quality is there......

Log on to www.garagejournal.com, go to the Flooring forum and search for "racedeck" or other brands. There's a number of comparisons. Should you decide to go with Racedeck they give a Garage Journal member discount.

Costco's Moto Floor is a low end version of Racedeck that Racedeck doesn't sell themselves. Usually on sale 3 times a year on Costco dot com for $2+/tile. Had mine 6 years, still great.

Since a garage floor really takes a beating, I'd never go low-end. My Racedeck floor has held up well over the last 10 years. It's like spending the extra money to buy a good pair of shoes.

If you take the the Diamond product, they can get a bit slippery. However the Free Flow don't have that problem. The only drawback to the freeflow is that are very hard your your knees if you lean on them. Get a good pad to work around or under the car.

How easily does Racedeck clean up with a broom? Always wondered if particles would get caught in the grooves. My dogs walk into the garage occasionally and was thinking hair would stick in the tiles. My floor was originally epoxied which was great for about ten years but looks pretty sad now.

Craftsman Gray PVC Multi-Purpose Raised Coin Garage Flooring(Model # NSMCRC6DG) is available at Sears. I have had in down for two years and love it. Craftsman also makes a tile similar to Racedeck, but I liked the these better. It is not as costly as the others, as well.

Default garage floor

Unfortunately none of these would work for me as my garage has drains on both sides and I wash my car there year round.
Epoxy floor now 14 years old and showing it.
I will consider polished concrete or ceramic tile somewhere along the line
Just my 2 cents

any of you guys had any experience with oil or any other liquid spilling and getting under the tiles? is it just as simple as pick up those few tiles and clean up?
