I'm in the market for C6 and have narrowed it down to a GS and Z. Looking to spend in the low 40's. I prefer the "practicality" of the GS, but am curious as to what owners of both think what the values of their car will do in the next five years. Obviously we are just speculating here, but will the value of a GS diminish considerably more than a Z?

I would speculate that as a % to purchase price they will depreciate about the same, you will pay more for a Z and therefore will be worth a little more after you keep it for a while and sell it.
But you also have to factor in the condition you maintain it and how many miles you will put on it.
