Ill be in Vegas Nov 5th for an engineering conference, and would love to go the the SEMA show but you have to work in the automotive industry. I do not, I'm in wireless engineering. If any of the vendors on our forum are going and have a spare pass it would be great. I've dreamed of going to a SEMA show for the last million years !

1 Ask any of the car shops in Vegas see if you can use their badge for 20 bucks, audio shop, tuner shop etc.

2 I went to Westgate casino today and talked to them, they say you can still register and get in. I said I am not in the car businiess at all can I still get in? he said yeah if you can pay. (not very sure about this)

3, I didn't pay of course, there are tons of cars around Sema that you can see, you can spend hours outside Sema, if you can't get the badge just go see the cars outside sema! actually I was hanging outside and few doors didn't have security guarding so I snuck in. you can do that too but no guaranteed. other than security there are a lot of exit doors that can only be opened from inside, many times they just leave it open and you can get in from there!!!

I actually got the pass from last year, and I looked at other people's pass and they look similar....can I use last year's pass? It got "13" on it I am not sure if it's 2013 or other numbers

I worked with a guy for a short time that would use an old pass to get into an automotive event. He would flip it over as if that's just they way it is. The back looked the same and didn't show the year. He walked with confidence and it was never questioned that I ever saw or heard.

We have people there but only have enough badges for those that are in attendance.
