New C6 Z06

Hi everybody. I sold my C5 Vert today and picked up an awesome 2009 C6 Z06 3LZ Cyber Grey Metallic with Ebony/Sienna interior. It's a cam/headers only car. Everything else is stock and produced a Mustang dyno slip @ 618bhp.

Thought I'd pop-in and say hello. Look forward to hangin' out with y'all in the C6 forum.

Congratulations----enjoy it! I had a 2008 ZO6 and LOVED it-----I am sure you will feel the same about your 2009. Fantastic cars.......nothing like a ZO6!

Have you heard about the valve guides/machining problem? Not every Z06 suffers from this. But, if your out of warranty (5/100) you might think about getting them checked. LS7's are not cheap to replace if it drops etc.....

Add: If your Z has headers/cam then it has a tune and it has NO warranty from GM anyway...

Nice car. Looks like you've also,got aftermarket side skirts and front splash guards. How do you like the splash guards?

Ya, I've heard about it. Of course, I heard about it the day after I bought it. Seems like a good excuse to get new heads and intake to go with the cam and headers.

Haven't really formed an opinion yet. I'm in AZ, so lots of rocks on the road. I think I like the idea of having those there to save the paint. They blend ok. It also has carbon splitter and side skirts. I like those a lot.

That Cyber Gray Metallic looks awesome in direct sunlight.
