Rear hatch pull down on my '08 not right
Last 2 times I opened it, I almost did not get it fully closed. I pushed it down until it caught in the latch, but the electric pull down would not come on. Eventually, when I pushed it down all the way, the elec pull down worked.
Is this a know issue? I did a search but nothing similar came up.

Not a known issue, but there is a micro switch which is tripped when the lid is closed. Your probably is out of adjustment. Check the latch and adjust it like you would a regular hood latch.

Did this on my '08 and works well now. Just dirty and getting old ...... That's the car, not me!
