C6 stereo upgrade
I would just thank Dennis at Double D Mods for all his help and a fantastic stereo system. Like so many readers I wanted to add a sub woofer to my corvette, but was not quite sure how to do it. So I contacted Dennis at Double D Mods and told him what I had (Bose sys) and what I wanted and what I had to spend. Dennis recommended a AOE MGM-24 hook up, 5 channel Kenwood all new Alpine speakers and two 10 inch woofers with mount. Long story short it is a fantastic system and the sound is unreal, I feel like I am riding in a speaker.
Dennis corvette and stereo knowledge is unsurpassed, what question I did have during the install he answered and just like he said you can't even tell I did anything. Well until you pop the hatch and see the two big 10 inch woofers! If anyone has any question about upgrading their system contact Dennis, you won't be disappointed.

Jeff wanted to retain the stock radio. With the aoemgm24 harness when used with stock radio it will give you preouts needed to add an amp and new speaker/amp/sub to the car an not change head units.
Then at a later time an upgrade to the head unit can be done as well.

Looks pretty good, but would never work for me, as we travel in our Corvette and I couldn't give up that space in the back.

It is a Kenwood Excelon XR 900/5 amp and the woofers are 10 inch KFC-XW1000F. With Alpine SPS 610C in the doors and Alpine 510 in the rear sides.
