Does your c6 wear womens clothing?
Never used a bra (on my car). Who has the best fitting? Do you find them damaging the paint? Are they worth the hassle?Does your girl friend get jealous when you tell her you removed her,(your cars) bra?

I never have thought that they were worth the trouble or expense.

I tried a bra on one car many years ago, and a combination of sand off the roads and the edges vibrating at highway speeds in time made permanent marks on the hood of the car. I do not use them anymore.. I have been temped to try the 3M vinyl clear bra or equivalent.

I have the GM one and I only put it on if it is clean and the nose of the car is clean. Even with all of that, it really depends on where I am going as to whether I put it on or not.
I don't tend to leave it on that long (I really don't go that long between washes) to where it will do any damage.

Used a bra on my 87 Vert and it left marks near the fender wells and dirt would get behind it but to be fair newer types today have better mounting systems. None the less I use 3M Pro on my 13' GS and I'm very pleased with it. I had 3M (early 3M version) on my Pontiac G8 DD and it did a great job so went with it again. The newer 3M Pro is a clearer film with better warranty so I expect it to perform as good as or better than the old 3M. Plus I still get to use my Curb Alert with the 3M. I didn't put the 3M Pro on my GS's headlights, I know other C-6 owners that have; time will tell what the right strategy is for putting it on HLs.

I put mine over the spray on paint protector. After about 8 months I removed it and there were rocks and dirt underneath. When I cleaned off the paint protector there was no damage. I would say if I did it again I would maybe remove it every three or four weeks to clean underneath. It's a pain to put on the first time but comes on and off in a few minutes after that.

I have the one from Speed Lingerie, fits like a glove with not flapping or lose ends. It says it's good for 150MPH. I've only had it up to about 110 and it was fine. I only use it for longer trips, not everyday driving. They come in exact car colors and from a distance you can't even tell it's on.

I have a Speed Lingerie as well. I use mine while driving to and from shows. I usually leave it off when just running around town. It goes on and comes off pretty easy.

Don't have any use for one and always had problems with the attachment clip.

Nope, never liked the looks, and it always seemed as though it would cause a different set of problems.

I had a LeBra fascia cover on my 1995 Z28. It fit like a glove and prevented many rock chips... then one day I removed it for a wax... it had ruined the beautiful red paint and clear coat. Remember to take it off frequently and clean underneath it.

I have had the 3M on the front, sides and mirrors since new (08) and it still looks great. No chips and near invisible unless up close. No discoloring and most of all-no chips.

I never understood making a car look bad just so that it will look good for the next owner. 58K miles topless on all kinds of roads and behind semis and I can find a couple of very small imperfections if I look really had after detailing. But from 5 feet away it is perfect. IT'S A CAR NOT AN INVESTMENT!!!

I had one a white 97 C5. The bra was black. I left in for quite a while and it probably protected the paint however I would not spend the money for one again. As previous posters stated you can get sand and dirt underneath but mine was in pretty good shape. I just do not like the looks of them and have had a lot of negative comments from other people too. You are better off just doing a repaint of the front end which is not cheap but probably worth the money in the long run. It all depends on how fussy a person is and how many miles they put on their car and what types of roads are driven etc. I do not have any major chips on my C6 but the paint right on top of the front spoiler between the fog lights has a lot of little chips on it and I could probably get it retouched at a body shop for about $300.00. I would probably do that but it would just happen again since the car is an 05 that just turned 40,000 miles which are mostly highway miles.
