Default Bought new 13 GS vert - 17 month report

Bought the car new on June 25, 2013 and have driven more than 12,000 miles over the last 17 months. A few trips to Vegas, visiting one of the kids at school in San Luis Obispo and drove to Arizona with a friend for preseason baseball last March. Car has performed flawlessly and has never been in for service. I changed the oil myself (a first) and will do so again in a few thousand miles. After that I will attempt replacing the pads with Hawk ceramics although I am not sure when that will be. My wife and kids love the car and the only one bugging me to drive it is my son and thankfully he is away at school 9 months of the year. I am one satisfied customer!

Also have a 13 GS ( coupe ), bought it new about a week later than you on July 2, 2013. Not one problem, love the car as does my family.

Drove from San Francisco To LA and then Vegas last summer . . . in a rental car as we are from East coast - kept thinking what great roads for a Corvette. Did stop in San Luis Obispo also . . . at the Madonna Inn.

Lets hear it for the 13 Grand Sports. Enjoy and good luck.

Hey Bob.
Let me know when you change your brake pads. I'd be happy to come over and lend a hand and see how it's done. I live in Encino.

And I've had my 2013 GS MN6 F55 for 24 months. Love it! 8500 miles. Second set of brakes, and had the brake fluid flushed twice, the Michelin PSS's are wearing great though. Ridiculously good car.

I had my 13 GS delivered on May 3, 2013 and couldn't be happier. Outside of the normal oil changes (10,900 miles so far), I've had some small warranty issues that the dealer is handling. The car is at the dealer now for the correction of the following issues:

They ordered a new passenger A pillar to fix, what looks like, an "aneurism" and secured the driver's side pillar to be even with the dash. This is small stuff that is easily fixed. I'm happy with how the dealer has dealt with these issues.
I have had the glove box latch changed twice, though. This is a design flaw, to be sure.
All said, though, I couldn't be happier with the car and I'm glad that I chose the GS instead of a C7. I'll wait a couple of years for the C7 Grand Sport.

Default The best ...

Bought a 13 GS MT in Nov 13... I have 3000 miles on it and has performed to perfection with no problems. I did have the have Cap light come on but thanks to this Forum I learned to just lightly turn the cap when installing it. I have bought over 20 new cars and this is the first actual trouble free car of them all and for sure it is the most technical....and fastest....

We bought our new 13 GS M6 Convertible January 2, 2014 from Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, Iowa. Since that time we drove from Missouri to New Mexico, Arizona, California, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina, We put 12,500 miles on it in 9 1/2 months. No issues whatsoever. Absolutely love the car.

Might as well add my 2 cents...

Took delivery of my new '13 GS on Jan. 24th, 2013, so it is now 22 months young.

So far, not a single issue requiring a return to the dealer.

I'm happy!

2013 GS Coupe mn6 3LT here, bought new in early June 2013. Only 3600 miles so far, been too busy with work, to drive it more. It's purpose for me is not transportation but rather, spirited sports car driving and relaxation from stress.

I put the Halltech MF103 CAI on it, the JOC anti-sway bars and Bilstein B8 Sport shocks. I couldn't be any happier! It corners like it is on a rail.

This is the best performance car I have ever personally owned. Wonderful balance of enough power and excellent handling. Looking forward to wearing out the GY's enough, to justify switching to better tires. I will also be looking at upgrading the brakes too and this may be rotors, pads, brake lines and higher temp fluid. I'm also toying with the idea of LT headers and a supercharger on modest boost, for more pull in the higher gears but that is about a $10K upgrade with a tune. I would also probably have the valve springs changed out too. For right now, it has adequate power and I appreciate the balance with the chassis performance.

I could have waited for a C7 but couldn't pull myself away from the beautiful C6 GS body lines. I'm not an angular Euro car guy.... yet.

Have a 13' GS Coupe and love it. Participated in the NCM 20th Anniversary National Caravan this past August and the car was a joy to drive with the hundreds of other Corvettes in the group. Got to drive the car around Charlotte Motor Speedway and it felt like the car was really in it's element. I loved all my previous Corvettes but out of all of them I'd pick my 13' over any of them in a nano second.

I purchased my 2013 GS in July of 2013 from my Bob McCosh here in Columbia, MO. I have driven it to MN twice for work, Colorado, South Florida and used it as a daily driver until winter. I have only been back to the dealer for oil changes and I have 12,000 completely flawless miles. It does need tires though. I love driving my GS.

I bought my 2013 GS M6 Coupe early this year with 2K miles on her. Pristine condition and still is after its drive home to Seattle from the mid-west. Had its first oil change last week, when checking in the Service rep asked me anything else we should look into? I said "Nope, she is perfect the ways she is"

One Awesome car..

Yea they are built tough - cause Chevy knows not many will end up in the scrap heap!
Glad the hear you are driving it - & yours is not just a garage queen.

Got my '13 GS in Feb.of '13 and have almost 10k miles, trouble free, except for the crappy GY tires, already down to wear strips, will be replacing them after the holidays.
