Default please help me out here

I'm trying to sell these corvette wheels for a friend which I was told came off a 2008 C6 Z06 but I begin to believe that they didn't come off a Z06 but a base C6, but what do I know, I'm not a vette guy. Correct me or help me out, that's the reason of this thread.

The wheels are in great codition I would give them 9.5/10 but because of a 3/4s of an inch light curb rash(barely visible) I have to give them 9.

They come with street radials, Toyo Proxes R888 Front 255/35/18 and rear 305/30/19

Pleasy any help is appreciated as to what exactly they are and which model did they come off, and how much should I sell them for with those tires.

The pictures are not too great as they were taken in a dark room tonight, wheels just need to be cleaned that is all, I'll get better pictures soon.

Definitely not Z06 wheels. Those aren't even factory. They may have come off a Z06 but they didn't come FROM a Z06.

Well yeah, you got a point there.. I guess that's what he meant which in that case didn't mean they came FROM a Z06 like you said, and I just found out they're not even factory too..you just confirmed it ...

well fooled me, since I'm not a vette guy so I didn't know. anyway where and how much can I sell these for? can you point me in the right direction? thank you

They look like base C-6 non factory wheels. If it were not for the little fake nuts or bolts all around the outside they would look very close to stock chrome base C-6 wheels.

these are not factory Corvette wheels from any vintage, these are aftermarket wheels, I guess they have very little value to most people since they are not original.

Okay they're not original, whether original or not, I'm sure someone may want to use them for track days especially with the tires that are on there they're definitely worth something even just for the tires alone.. What am I looking at about 1200?

I would recommend going to a local swap meet and trying to sell. I'm not discouraging you but it's probably a tough sell. I would recommend mentioning the tread depth and are they worn evenly? You don't know the wheel manufacturer, offset, etc... I do see pitting as well. I would expect less than $700.00 and that might be a stretch. Good Luck.

I'll shoot you a guess-timate. The wheels are worth maybe $300-$400 max if they were in perfect condition (jmo). The tires, I can't tell what condition or use they've had but again, imo, tires in practically new condition are still worth about half lowest retail. I'd guess if you can find the right buyer which is the one who will pay the highest dollars, you could get $1200. But, to me, that's assuming the tires are worth $900---are they worth that in your opinion?

Thank you, yeah I just didn't have enough time last night to get more info, especially since I didn't know they were replica wheels. I'll try to get more info on the specs , offset and the tread depth. They seemed like they are worn evenly.

I don't know as I never dealt with street radials before so I don't know. but even if I get 900-$1000 for the whole thing I'll be happy regardless. just trying to figure out what's the best place to post them up for sale, as it seems like there are few vette forums, no?

Thanks a lot everyone. I'll get some more info about them later and I'll post it here

There is a for sale section on this forum which would be a great starting point for you. In addition to the other comments, another issue with the wheels is that the condition/age of the TMPS is also unknown. They would probably need to be replaced before installation.

I would say you would be lucky to find a buyer for the $200.00 for the set, sorry no way you will ever get close to $1000.00 too many other good sets out there and brand new for $800.00 or so,

Sorry, but that's ridiculous. The street radials are almost 400$ each maybe less for the fronts but given they're at quite good shape, and considering them 200$ each used as they are which seems fair , would add up to $800 plus rims, which should be 1000 easy. I may not know much about the Vette rims or their replicas but I'm not stupid. Thanks though.

I think your best bet would be to post these on your local Craigslist. There is probably a guy out there who would put these on an earlier generation Corvette.

Thank you, I will definitely do that I just wanted to hear some normal peoples' opinions on what the price should be given the info I have provided so far and not bashing me or coming up with crazy prices like $200 which is just ridiculous, as you tires alone should be EASY 700-$800 so with rims 1000-1200? I'll try that thanks man !

I agree. I wouldn't put fake wheels on my car at all. I bought a brand new set of take off wheels and tires for my Tahoe. OE tires and wheels for $1100. Why would anyone want obviously fake corvette wheels and used tires for anymore than $2-300. Probably disappointing but.....
