Default gloss or satin wheels?

Gloss black or satin black wheels on a black c6?

Gearing up to do wide body on the vette and new wheels are in order.
Wanting to go with black cup wheels, but the choice of satin or glass is the question.

Currently have comp grey Z06 5 spoke repo's for a base model on it now.

Default satin

My experience is gloss black shows scratches and imperfections easier than satin.

I have the satin black cup wheel on black '13 Z06. Would not look right with gloss.

I prefer gloss. The satin finish always looks dirty.

almost as bad a topic as black vs chrome vs competition gray lol

im in similar boat. not doing widebody (as i plan to move on to a Z06 or GS down road) but i'm looking at gloss vs satin Cups as well. i am seriously considering the black chromes with the centennial center caps... i also wonder how black chrome with that cap would look with a red stripe?

My initial thought was the satin black red stripe centennial but my small Z51 brakes makes me wonder if it will look right? i think satin draws your eye to brakes alot. gloss keeps you at wheels (and black chrome for that matter)

On black, go for a satin wheel.

Get a lot of good comments on the red stripe.

Black GM Centennial Cup Corvette rims, first owner put them on and I got the OEM rims that came on the car all wrapped and boxed up.

Cup wheels as, opposed to Spiders look better in Matte or Satin, IMO.

I can only speak from experience when I say that I have had both gloss and stain and the gloss are 100 times easier to clean.

Here is a set of Roush wheels powdercoated gloss black that I had on my 2004 Roush Cobra. Much easier to remove brake dust and road grime from a shiny surface, especially if you add a couple coats of wax.

Pipe down donwill.

I like the satin best on the cup wheel and gloss on the spiders. Either way as long as their BLACK.

You probably like that wing on there too! Were you dropped on your head as a child? Thought so.
