Advantage of bigger wheels.
Probably a dumb question but here it goes.... Is there an advantage of going from a GS wheel set up to a ZR1 wheel set up? Will be buying wheels soon, just curious. I like the ZR1 wheels, and would buy tires for them. Or stick to GS sizes, since my tires are almost new, and go with an aftermarket wheel. Be easy....I know how this crowd can be.. thanks for input!!!

I did the ZR1 size upgrade, and now I wish I'd stuck with GS/Z06 sizes. There are very few options for tires for the 19/20 setup, especially if you have a lot of HP and want to run drag radials.

The ZR1 wheels are bigger to clear the carbon ceramic brakes. Going to a larger wheel is actually worse for your performance.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of my car with the 19/20 Cup wheels, and the Michelins are way better than the Goodyears, but I could have gotten other aftermarket wheels that look great in GS/Z06 sizes and gotten Michelin/Bridgestone/etc tires and still been just as happy.
