Default Fuel Gauge not functioning right

Good evening yall,
My fuel gauge is acting crazy, when i have a full tank it acts full 2/3 of a tank, when the tank is actually half full it sends service fuel system.

What can the problem be? Fuel gauge? Sensor in driver tank? Passenger tank?

you are likely going to need a sending unit. try a bottle of techron (black bottle) and fill the tank. hopefully it will start acting correctly after a few hundred miles, otherwise the tanks will require removal.

$1500 parts and labor is about what I paid to have mine replaced.

Parts is the cheap bit, it dropping the tank that is labor extensive/expensive instead.
