I have a 13 GS with the duel top option. I was switching the tops yesterday, solid in the summer to block the sun and the transparent top in the winter for some solar heating. I noticed the transparent top has a considerable blue tint. Are all of the transparent tops tinted
blue ? I have read posts here referring to these tops as smoked and even black. Are there a variety of colors and tints? Aftermarket tops?

I have the dual top option with my 05 and my transparent top is definitely dark smoked.

2012 GS - absolutely bluish looking. In part blue sky related, but yes, has a blue hue.

It looks more blue looking out from the inside. Mine looks black on the outside.

Could the color of the interior have some influence on the color that reflects from the top. Red and blue could make it seem blue. Ours is ebony and does not show blue.

My interior is black, but the top looks blue.

I have a 2006, transparent top from factory, ebony interior, and when I look up through the top from the inside, it's got a blue tint. It looks black looking from the outside.

2010 coupe here. Mine looks black from the outside and blue from the inside.

Sky is blue also. At least is where I live in FL. I am sure that has no influence.
