Me too.
C6s get stolen only if the thief has a fob or a tow truck.
Since there is no glass alarm, I don't leave "inviting" objects in view.

Please don't spend any money on an alarm outside of the factory, no one pays attention to them... Think about it, when was the last time you heard one and actually looked to see if it was being stolen or called the police?

Well that's just it, at least with an after market alarm, your phone or remote will alert YOU if it goes off as opposed to the factory FOB. Was just thinking about investing in a viper smartstart alarm but then I hate the thought of them splicing into all my wires LOL.

There have been problems with aftermarket alarm installations in the C6.
I would only use one if my car was parked in bad areas and the alarm could be a complete "stand alone" system that connected only to the car battery for power and connected to nothing else in the original electrical system.

Drifting
Just activate your OnStar. If the car is stolen, notify them and they will alert the police as to its location. Once officers have it in sight, OnStar will shut off the fuel supply so that the car will coast to a stop and the thieves can be arrested.
Probably a lot cheaper than installing an after market alarm system.
