I just traded my '06 Z06 for a '12 Z06 (Z07 option). New car is "new" with only 2444 miles on it!! Researching the production info on the car, it looks like it is one of only 17 possible cars built for the 2012 model year based on the 36S yellow stitching on the 3LZ interior. Here's my dilemma though...it has the RUV Black Cup Wheels and Tires and the J6E Yellow Caliper options on the build sheet (and on the car!) however, the yellow calipers are actually satin black to match the cup wheels with yellow "corvette" emblazoned on them (see pic). I have searched to attempt to determine if these are optioned anywhere but, I have been unable to find any similar images of these calipers. The normal yellow caliper option appears to have a completely yellow caliper...
Does anyone have any info?

The only colors that the calipers came in were the standard silver, gray, yellow and red. If the build sheet says they were yellow, I would say that the previous owner had them painted or powder coated black and then added the yellow lettering.

I can't help on your question, but that is a gorgeous and nicely optioned Z06. Congrats. You appear to have carbon ceramic brakes and the massive Brembo calipers. That's cool!
